PEER RESPONSE: 

GOOD:
  • Nice music 
  • Sound effects are good like the onions and breathing
  • Good establishing shots
  • Nice sound
  • Good handheld shots
  • Good sound effects of intruder walking

WORK ON:
  • Change title so its not on the establishing shots
  • Make the starting shots more longer to match the eerie music
  • Build to quicker shots
  • Fades don't really add up to it so change the transitions
  • Play with music around the end of the film and middle when it's more intense
  • Some shots are too long
  • Sound is muffled in the dialogue scene.

MY RESPONSE:
  • I will keep my music the same but I will add more upbeat, sharp music during the moments where it is supposed to sound more intense.
  • I will change some of my transitions instead of fades make them quick shots near the end.
  • Take out the shot of phoebe putting the knife down as its not continuous 
  • Change the cross fades near the end to quick shots
  • Maybe take out the shot of the intruder grabbing phoebe and have the title of 'here I come' show with the sound of the screaming behind the title and beginning of credits fading into ambient music for the credits.
  • Change my title to be something with after effects and make the title not on the establishing shots
  • increase the sound for the pan frying and phoebe breathing as cant hear it without headphones
  • Build to quicker shots
  • Add in credits for peoples name
  • Add in 2 after effects one being for the title

 Duress: I like their title and logo, the music behind it goes with the glitch effect. The title is slow which is good, its kind of creepy The close ups for a long time is scary and unusual  Close up then back to credits and titles Establishing shots are fast but give enough time to see them sand get a scary feel dark lighting goes from quick shots to credits (back and forth) little snippets of shots then black out  A Quiet place: Establishing shots set the scene it engages the audience  The shots are very still while the leaves fly in the wind and characters run and walk around dark lighting there is no sound which is suspenseful as they cant make a noise  abandoned town camera follows the character  Suspense scene:  Dark lighting over shoulder  shots Blurred out character is suspenseful  and helps the audience know they are bad as the come out of no where Switch from girls feet walking to the guys feet walking  shadows ...
